In the Community:
- Seattle Children’s Chorus at Benaroya Hall, Saturday, May 30th, 1:30 pm.
Elder Board:
- We will be presenting ‘The Truth Project’ during the summer months. It will be a very effective presentation of the Christian worldview. You will be given opportunity to sign up for a time slot later in May.
Youth:
- The May 17th Parade in Ballard, Pitch n Putt, and a Summer Retreat, are scheduled as well as our regular Sunday evening Bible studies. Grace thanks you for serving a great Easter breakfast!
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 6-10. Save the dates! We ill need to recruit extra helpers as some of our regular volunteers will not be available for the whole week.
Benevolence Committee:
- During this time of economic distress in our community, we are suggesting that each Grace family bring an item of non-perishable food to our worship services to be donated to the Lynnwood Food Bank. Plastic grocery and newspaper bags and small cardboard boxes are also welcome. Over 300 people are being served on a weekly basis.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast has been well attended and received. We meet on the last Saturday morning of the month at 7:00 am at the Pancake Haus in Edmonds for fellowship, discussion and prayer (and breakfast).
Library: We have been given a grant of $5,000 by a foundation for ministry. The opportunities are exciting. Watch for details.

Prayer Notes:
- We ask the Father for all the necessary resources required, material and spiritual, to accomplish the task He has given us. We are facing some difficult decisions and ask for wisdom for the Boards.
- May God renew His Church in this time of national economic distress.
- We thank God for giving Gary and Daniel Stueckle a blessed mission trip to Ethiopia. We will be hearing about it sometime soon.
- We continue to remember those in our congregation in critical medical situations: Nadine, Leo, Emma L, as well as seniors struggling with the debilitating effects of aging.
- We ask the Father to protect a pregnant mother, and her child that Tom and Kim are preparing to adopt and that the father will agree to free the child for adoption.
- May God bless the Jesus Fellowship Church in their ministry in our facility.
- We ask for wisdom, guidance, and the unity of the Spirit in our Annual Meeting.
- May God bless the preparations underway for our VBS.
- We ask the Father to lead us into a new ministry that will connect with our community.
- We thank God for those He is sending into our fellowship. We want to be a church family for them in every way.
- We thank the Lord for Pastor Al Foss’ ministry on the Elder Board. He is retiring, but retains the well deserved titile of Elder Emeritus.
- Pray that Andrew and Kris Larsen will find ways to be more deeply connected to people in their neighborhood and that Kris will find more opportunity for language study.
- We ask for guidance for our college graduates and students returning home for the summer.
