Prayer Notes:
Pastor Bob Hosmer will be serving our Stanwood congregation part time beginning November 1st. We ask the Father to give him a fruitful ministry in the congregation he established years ago. (He will still be involved with the Grace outreach ministry during the week.)
We ask the Father for Mindy Kim’s health, safety and effective ministry on her mission to Uzbekistan.
We ask the Father for all the necessary resources required, material and spiritual, to accomplish the task He has given us. We are asking for partners in the use of our facility and wisdom in using what we have been given.
Andrew and Kris Larsen continue language and cultural study as the minister to Hakka people. Isaak and Noelle attend public school. We pary for the family’s safety and health. May God use the relief efforts of churches following the devastating August typhoon to turn many hearts to Christ.
May the Father bless the ministry of the Jesus Fellowship Church.
CLBA Regional Pastors will be assuming their ministry in January. Pray for the one who will be assigned to the congregations on the Pacific coast.
Growing old can be very difficult in body, mind and spirit. Remember those in our congregation who are suffering age related disability in your prayers and contacts.
Pray for Jim Turnbough battling brain cancer; Jo Davey’s doctors finding the right medications to restore her health; Carol being treated for lung cancer; Carolyn Bosma fighting infection; Laila’s friend with Leukemia; Julie and Yutaka recovering from surgery.
Pray for physical strength for Nadine, Joe, Gudrun, Suzzane, Emma and unborn Naomi.
We ask the Father to enable the ministries beginning (again) this fall to fulfill their mission (Sunday School, Youth, Women of Grace, Home Fellowship Groups, Let’s Speak English, Choir, Benevolence, and Men’s Prayer Breakfast, as well as our Sunday Worhsip Services).
Note: Ongoing requests, both personal and congregational, will be listed in Grace Extra after appering in the bulletin, freeing the bulletin space for ‘hot off the press’ items.
